  Iodin Series

  Iohexol, Ioversol, Iodixanol, Iopamidol are FCAD’s early developed products which are currently known as contrast agents around the world. Today, FCAD is still the main material supplier of these products in Europe.
  Iodin series are primarily used in the following:
  Angiography throughout the cardiovascular system, including cerebral and peripheral arteriography, coronary arteriography and ventriculography, pediatric angiocardiography, selective visceral arteriography and aortography, peripheral venography (phlebography)
  Adult and pediatric intravenous excretory urography and intravenous adult and pediatric contrast enhancement of computed tomographic (CECT) head and body imaging

  Cyclen & Derivatives

  Cyclen, DOTA, Gadoteric acid and Gadoterate meglumine are another early series of contrast agents developed by FCAD. Now they are approved and used in a number of countries worldwide, to assist imaging of blood vessels and of inflamed or diseased tissue where the blood vessels become ‘leaky’. It is often used when viewing intracranial lesions with abnormal vascularity or abnormalities in the blood–brain barrier. Its paramagnetic property reduces the T1 relaxation time (and to some extent the T2 and T2* relaxation times) in NMR, which is the source of its clinical utility.

  Sodium Salt Series

  Ferene Disodium Salt and Ferrozine Monosodium Salt are FCAD’s current featured products which were developed for some clients originally but now are sold widely through FCAD’s subsidiaries and trading partners. These two products are used for the spectrophotometric determination of Fe by diagnostic companies and FCAD has become the largest actual manufacturer globally.

  Herbicide	Name	Use
  	Paraquat	Paraquat is used as a quaternary ammonium herbicide, one of the most widely used herbicides in the world. It is quick-acting, non-selective, and kills green plant tissue on contact. It is redistributed within the plant, but does not harm mature bark. Herbicides are used to protect crops by controlling a wide range of annual and certain perennial weeds that would otherwise compete with the crop for water, nutrients, and light.
  	Diquat	Diquat is a contact herbicide that produces desiccation and defoliation most often available as the dibromide, diquat dibromide.Brand names for this formulation include Aquacide, Dextrone, Preeglone, Deiquat, Detrone, Reglone, Reglon, Reglox, Ortho-Diquat, Weedtrine-D,Weedol 2 and, in combination with glyphosate, Resolva. Diquat is a non-selective herbicide that acts quickly to damage only those parts of the plant to which it is applied.It has been used in pre-harvest crop desiccation.It bonds strongly to mineral and organic particles in soil and water where it remains without significant degradation for years.

  	Chlorpyrifos	Chlorpyrifos is a crystalline organophosphate insecticide. It is known by many trade names (see table), including Dursban and Lorsban. It acts on the nervous system of insects by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase and remains “one of the most widely used organophosphate insecticides”, according to the United States Environmental.
  	Imidacloprid	Imidacloprid is currently the most widely used insecticide in the world. It is sold under many names for many uses; it can be applied by soil injection, tree injection, application to the skin of the plant, broadcast foliar, ground application as a granular or liquid formulation, or as a pesticide-coated seed treatment.Imidacloprid is widely used for pest control in agriculture. Other uses include application to foundations to prevent termite damage, pest control for gardens and turf, treatment of domestic pets to control fleas,protection of trees from boring insects, and in preservative treatment of some types of lumber products
  	Chlorfluazuron	Chlorfluazuron acts as insect growth regulators by inhibiting synthesis of chitin in the insect’s body.
  	Pymetrozine	The pymetrozine can be used for the insect control of agriculture field nuisanceless production. The pymetrozine is stable in performance, high in insecticidal activity, and improved in efficacy, and reduces the dosage of medicament.
  	Cyhalothrin	It is a broad spectrum insecticide on insects and mites with a strong contact and stomach action as well as haveing repellent effect. This product is fast-acting insecticide, persistence length, and lower toxicity for beneficial insects, controlling the boll weevil, bollworm, corn borer, cotton spider mites, vegetables yellow striped flea beetle, diamondback moth, cabbage caterpillar, cutworm, potato aphid and other pests.
  	Cypermethrin	Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid used as an insecticide in large-scale commercial agricultural applications as well as in consumer products for domestic purposes. It behaves as a fast-acting neurotoxin in insects. It is easily degraded on soil and plants but can be effective for weeks when applied to indoor inert surfaces. Exposure to sunlight, water and oxygen will accelerate its decomposition.
  	Beta cypermethrin	Beta-Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide used to control many pests, including moth pests of cotton, fruit, and vegetable crops. It is also used for crack, crevice, and spot treatment to control insect pests in stores, warehouses, industrial buildings, houses, apartment buildings, greenhouses, laboratories, and on ships, railcars, buses, trucks, and aircraft.
  	Fenvalerate	Fenvalerate is a contact and sytemic pyrethroid insecticide that is used to control insects on numerous leaves and fruits, on feed and cotton production, to control flies and ticks for livestock and in stables.
  	Deltamethrin	Deltamethrin has been instrumental in preventing the spread of diseases carried by tick-infested prairie dogs, rodents and other burrowing animals.It is helpful in eliminating and preventing a wide variety of household pests, especially spiders, fleas, ticks, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, cockroaches and bed bugs. Deltamethrin is also one of the primary ingredients in ant chalk.
  	Alpha-cypermethrin	Alpha-cypermethrin is a highly active broad spectrum insecticide, effective by contact and ingestion against target pests. It is widely used in agricultural crops, forestry as well as in public and animal health.
